October AJ Challenge Week 3 {EMBRACE}

I was inspired by so many things on Susie's Week 3 Post - Here's the [URL='https://oscraps.com/community/threads/art-journal-challenge-week-3-embrace.40679/#post-721546']link[/URL]. I was especially drawn to the "wordle" on the mood board about "Transition". My layout for this week, is about Embracing Life" and is certainly full of transition. I tried to highlight some of my favorite pictures and combine those with some meaningful quotes.

This is beautiful! I can see why these are your favorite pictures. I especially love the photo of Chuck with a full face smile in the right corner. You had a wonderful life together.

Oh I love this!!!! I love the left side is about family and wonderful photos and then the right is you and Chuck and the love and then his beautiful smiling face. The quotes you chose and their placement :love: The wings, they always get me, are so ......... I dont even know the word I want but those wing represent so much and always make me tear up. I know how important they are and knowing really tears at my heart yet warms my heart. I dont even know how to explain it. Followed by the Love framing the layout. I love that you placed this on a spiral notebook, adding to the memories feel. Wonderful layout Cheryl.

Thank you so much, Tracy. You always "read my mind" on these pages. I know there's a lot on there, but I just couldn't leave any of it out. I know you and I have a thing for the wings. I was going to use this page for Week 4 (kind a wrap-up), but another idea came into play for next week. Next week is going to be a LITTLE different. Wow Cheryl! This is so amazing. Every inch of this is emanating all kinds of love, happiness, and joy. That you embraced family so well and thoroughly just shines through. I love the angel wings subdued into the background on the family side. Like Chuck is always there, protecting and embracing all of you. And the right side? Thanks so much, Amy. I had NO idea when we had that picture taken so many years ago, that it would become such a wonderful beacon to our love. I have it sitting on my desk, right behind my computer where I can see it every time I sit down to work. Chuck left such a legacy of love and I'm SO blessed to have all of these wonderful memories and the wonderful family to embrace them with me.
