This was the funniest sequence of pictures of my DD opening and being unsure of a christmas present. I made it into a fairytale story.
Journaling reads:
Once upon a time, a little princess received a very special gift for Christmas. Even though she was quite excited when first opening the present, her joy turned to fear once she pulled off the paper wrapping and realized it was a pony. Unsure if the pony was real or not, she attempted to investigate it from afar, reluctant to touch or ride the horse.
It sure looked real! It was big and fuzzy like a horse, and it even made real horsie sounds! With much cheering and reassuring from her royal court, she decided that the pony could stay in her kingdom. As long as it did not touch her, she was very excited about her gift. However, once her older sister decided to try riding the pony, the princess became very jealous and wanted to have the horse all to herself.
After a short time, both sisters were able to enjoy and share the pony, inviting it into their playroom to live with them happily ever after.
