The journaling is about the Forbidden City and my new daughter. We were first time parents and couldn't find a way to get her mittens on. It was a cold day in Beijing in March and her hands were cold but she didn't want the mittens. One of the more experienced mothers in the group came over and taught us a little trick: Be patient and try to divert her attention to something else while you do what you want to do :D
