since we had babies in the house this year, we decided to pay a friend to take a family photo. this was the very first shot she took (and the only one i actually liked). the experience was frustrating with uncooperative babies and the setting sun. however, i did learn that i will save some money next year and take the picture with the help of a tripod instead. but, we did use this shot for our annual christmas cards. joey, julie, elaine, moriah. 2011.
