November Week 3 {GRATITUDE}

Week 3 of the November Art Journaling Challenges has been [URL='https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-art-challenge-week-3-gratitude.40839/']posted [/URL]and our word prompt is GRATITUDE.

What does my layout have to do with Gratitude? I'm grateful that I've made it this far and I'm still standing. "I Will Survive" - I AM surviving. I've had a difficult week and since I'm "Grief Journaling", I would be remiss if I didn't make my weekly page reflect my past week. I'm also GRATEFUL that the "bad weeks" are becoming less frequent.

And, I am in tears! Cheryl, this is so beautiful, heartfelt, and meaningful. And yes, "You will survive!" Sometimes I'm sure it doesn't seem like it, but we can be grateful that we continue on, right? ((( BIG HUGS )))

Thanks so much for your wonderful and supportive words, Betty Jo. This was a hard page to make, but I felt so much better after I worked through it with my art. I know you know what I'm going through and I know it will get better. I have fewer "bad weeks" than I did have. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred:

Oh Cheryl! Big Hugs to you! This stopped me in my tracks. Your emotions definitely come through on this page. The symbolism of your photo through the strips is profound. So much to look at. Beautiful, strong yet vulnerable page. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thanks for your sweet words, Amy. I always hesitate to "bring everybody else down" but this is a page about how I felt during the past week. I'm so blessed to have the love and support from all of you. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:

I love you too. Yes, I know I've always been so "buttoned up" and you've helped me to open up and become more vulnerable. I know that I'll really appreciate these pages in a year or two when my "fog" lifts and I get these pages in books.

Oh Cheryl. :sad1: This is so. Just oh. My. The scatter photo,(*crying) makes me imaging its a lot like your heart, still beating but shattered. All your journaling is so relatable and heartfelt. The smiling to not cry, SO relatable. The beautiful wings tucked into the edge of the page. All the grungy feel. I feel the steel running thought this while the tears rain down. What a beautiful layout. :heartpumppink:

Tracy, as always, your words cut straight to my heart. I hope I have a better week, so my next page won't be such a "downer". Thank you for all of your love and support and I'm thankful that you can relate because I know you miss your dad SO much. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred:

Thank you so much, Debby, for your sweet words. I'm doing better, just had a setback this past week. Hopefully, I'll get myself back on track. It's been harder than I ever imagined.
