I layered the photo over the background scene paper, then duplicated it. I blended them using Pin Light and Color Burn. I used layer masks to erase any of the hard edges of the photo. I recolored the bird to match the blues that showed up in the blended photos
Oh Chris...this is just wonderful! I love the fence along the bottom. And that squirrel on the log. But my very favorite thing is the addition of the bluebird which just makes the entire photo pop!

Oh yes! Truly a winter wonderland. I like how you have accomplished the scene with only a few elements. The squirrel and the tiny bird are too cute.
