Beautiful photos, and memories, Cheryl, and I'm sure Chuck is smiling his beautiful smile. I love the elements you've chosen, and, I really love the journaling around the edges of the page.
Cheryl, you created your thoughts so wonderfully that what you wrote here is exactly what I saw and felt when I saw your little thumbnail in the Gallery. It looked like a Thanksgiving of sorts, with your husband watching over a family who was lovingly held together by his love. While I know there is sadness, what shone out brightly was the strength in each other which connects you all - no matter where you are. Missing him, yet being brave and carrying on with him still a part of you. My Mom died two weeks before Christmas and that's how it felt on the first Holiday, almost as if we were continuing our traditions, almost honoring her and the legacy she left. I made a page once about my Mom and my sister and I that had the same type of feeling. You did an awesome job on this.
This is a very touching page. The family photos are beautiful and I can feel the wonderful bond that you all share. I love how you designed this page with the journaling around the edges. I am sure Chuck is looking over all of you. We are able to feel that presence long after a loved one is gone and it is comforting.

Thanks for your wonderful and heartfelt words, Marilyn. I'm so sorry you lost your mom right before Christmas, but I'm sure you still have that connection. Chuck is always with us no matter what we do. We always talk about him or laugh over something he said. Thanks again.

Yes, Bitzee, that connection is strong and still so very much there. We never fail to mention Chuck, no matter where we go or what we do. We went to a birthday party last night and were talking about him. He's always "with" us.
