Using filters and playing with blend modes is something I do very often when creating pages. I work with my own photos which - more often than not - are not perfect. The angle is wrong, the lighting is insufficient, the colors don't match... well, the usual...

For this page I applied black and white filter with blend mode set to hard light (80% transparency) and played with brightness and contrast... I also ended up recoloring some of the elements to better fit my color palette... Thank you for looking.
