I created this for the July Anna Lift Challenge. When I saw that one of the prompts was to document a favorite activity that has been altered and challenged by isolation, I knew I had to scrap about how terribly I miss my grandchildren! I haven't seen 5 of them since February and I decided to use this picture of me looking out the window and "envisioning" a wonderful evening we had on the beach, a few months ago.
Oh, I SO feel you! This is such a challenging time. I was in the same boat (last visit in February) until last Sunday when I saw my little grand in a mask, outdoors, trying to stay physically distanced, for 90 minutes. Haven't seen the other kids since March. Even before I read your comments, I knew what this design was about--the emotions just pour out. We just have to hang in, stay safe, and look toward brighter days. Beautiful and sensitive work.
This is so very creative and so well done, it's amazing, I love it! I understand your grief for your grandchildren very well, we had to wait 3 months, 14 days ago we finally saw them again, but at a distance. I hope you can hug your grandchildren in your arms again soon
