I used a plain background, the one with map lines, and one with the butterfly. I did linear blend on the butterfly, difference on the map lines, and I duplicated and then used multiply on the plain background.

I used paint splatters, word stamp, scribble lines, one straight line, and paint smudge of the ripped part of a spiral notebook paper. I used layer styles to change colors and to blend into the background papers.
