I used the Artsy Template to jumpstart my design, knowing I would be using only a couple of the frames. I chose to remove the two frames on the right and in their place inserted the Fotoblendz Overlay. I added the pictures to the Fotoblendz and frames, then the MultiMedia Element and WordART. The background paper came next (Artsy Paper #4 over #5 on multiply mode) and then I dressed up my rather blah photos with transfers and overlays; I also scattered a few of these around the background. Since this is a winter layout, I finished up with a linear gradient layer in light gold to accentuate the dried grasses that we passed on the trail.
Oh this looks so lovely and inviting, I want to step onto that boardwalk! And have pea soup and grilled cheese from a truck Love those tall skinny frames!
Love the photos you chose for the vertical frames and how the boardwalk blends in so you get the impression of its distance! I'm usually not a fan of croutons (dry, bland), but I might like 'notable' ones!
I love the Appalachian trail. Used to go hiking there every Sunday with a group. So many peaceful and gorgeous places! You captured them beautifully. Great page.
