Finally I've completed my homework assignment for Project 2023. This was really hard for me for some reason, and I had to cover some of the journaling on the right, but I think/hope it will encourage me to stick with this project.
I chose [URL='https://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtPlay-Palette-Alfresco.html']ArtPlay Alfresco[/URL] for the perfect theme and color match, and [URL='https://www.oscraps.com/shop/Wordy-FotoBlendz-Template-Album-No-1.html']Wordy Template[/URL] to give me plenty of space for journaling. Selected two pages from the Wordy Template for frames. The photos on the right are a subset of the project books I've completed over the years, first in 12x12 format, and now in 8x10. I have many more specific travel books but they're not with me.
I added brushwork - palm trees, paper textures, sky textures, and a few elements for flow, color buddies and visual triangles.

It was a hard assignment, that's for sure. But doing it definitely added another dimension to the project. I, too, hope mine will keep me on track. I can only imagine the journaling you covered up--living any part of our dreams is, in my experience anyway, not without some repercussions, whether positive, negative, or neutral. But you and I seem to be united in what's driving us forward, and that's simply: love. Onward!

Oh how well you understand! Yes, spending more than a week thinking about things made me realize my pages and books are not quite reflecting everything - kind of like a Facebook or Instagram view of my life ;-) While I don't intend to include too much bad stuff in this book, I wanted to at least put a disclaimer up front ;-)
