Spending the summer in Murray, UT, meant I had an abundance of roses. The condo complex has very mature rose bushes, some heritage, so I was doing my happy flower dance the entire time we were there. I carried scissors and a special bag everywhere just in case I need to "trim a rose bush." I had free rose bouquets daily. And some smelled more than fantastic. I actually found what I considered the best rose smell ever. I am going to buy one and try my luck in Arizona. Unfortunately, it won't be available until next year. Oh, it's the Jude the Obscure rose—which also thrilled the English Major in me.
