We were looking for a quiet place to stay for a few days when in New Zealand and found Lake Hawea. Most of the tourists stop at Lake Wanaka which isn't far away. Both are beautiful but Lake Hawea is so quiet and sleepy you can sleep on the beach. And shhh! Let's keep it to ourselves!
